One of them lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily guarded road. When this individual ventures into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers a mutation that affects not only the infected but also other survivors. In 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, Nia DaCosta takes the story further and turns it on its head. Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) begins a shocking new relationship that could have far-reaching consequences for their world, while Spike (Alfie Williams) endures a nightmarish ordeal with Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell) from which he cannot escape.
